					Deere-Hitachi Construction Machinery
					Deere-Hitachi Construction Machinery Corporation produces excavators at its Kernersville, N.C., factory – a 50/50 joint venture established in 1988. Deere-Hitachi also produces excavators at a factory in Sao Paulo, Brazil, through a joint venture established in 2011. Hitachi-branded construction excavators are also produced in Japan. The purpose-built Forester models are produced at a Deere-Hitachi jointly owned plant in Langley, B.C.
